Jordain Culpepper is a self-identified "sad boy". His music sits between the country, folk, and alternative genres, and sounds near to OneRepublic, John Mayer, and Keith Urban. Jordain writes about the things that are hard to talk about: grief, anxiety, and depression. He tries to capture those feelings and put them into his music. Mental health is hard to express and understand with only words. Music and melody help.
He released his first single "My Best Memory" in May of 2020 on the Artists in Isolation Vol. 1 with Rosewood Studio. With some success, it got picked up by a radio station in New Zealand! He did a western Canadian tour in the summer of 2020 (against all odds) with the late Kellen Saip and Ben Crosby. He followed that up with the release of his 3 song EP titled "Love Somebody" in October 2020 which has hit 20,000 streams globally!
Jordain has been performing for over a decade as a guitar player and frontman. He started his solo project in 2017 playing just about every open mic between Chilliwack and Abbotsford. Today, you'll find Jordain playing local breweries, festivals, and private events
